Fractured

My first single! I’m so proud to have written, recorded, and produced this song.

Fractured

by Lindsay Isaac-Lalla

Standing in the middle of the room, looking all around me.

On the floor, there’s a million slivers.

Shards. I’m left with all these pieces.

Shards. Of who I thought I had to be.

And I’m fractured—

fractured.

Standing here, laid bare, wondering: what’s inside me?

Wild and free, on my own journey.

Scars. Formed of all my stories.

Scars. All the strongest parts of me.

And I’m fractured—

fractured.

Time to start again, now there’s space to find me,

Deep inside, there’s a light that’s shining.

Stars. They will guide my way forward.

Stars. Burning bright inside of me.

And I’m fractured—(Shards. I’m left with all these pieces.)

Fractured. (Shards. Of who I thought I had to be.)

And I’m fractured—(Scars. Formed of all my stories.)

Fractured. (Scars. All the strongest parts of me.)

And I’m fractured—(Stars. They will guide my way forward.)

Fractured. (Stars. Burning bright inside of me.)
